Wood for New Planters Arrives, and We Need Volunteers!

The cedar timbers for our new garden beds have arrived all the way from Minnesota!

Joe Badre, a Seth Boyden graduate, will prepare and build the garden beds this month with his fellow Boy Scouts for his Eagle Project. The timbers will be stacked together like a log cabin and will last for a very long time!

We need help this Thursday evening from adults able to use a circular saw. We are cutting slats that the scouts will notch out on Saturday in preparation for the BIG BUILD on Saturday, April 21.

Please email Maggie Tuohy (maggie@2efamily.com) or Matthias Ebinger (Matthias.ebinger@gmail.com) if you can lend a hand on any of the following days:

  • Thursday, April 5, 6:30-8pm GREATEST PRIORITY (bring circular saw if possible)
  • Saturday, April 7, 9:30am-12pm
  • Saturday, April 21, all day
