The last year of elementary school is a milestone our students have worked hard to achieve, and it comes with special privileges, events and initiatives that they’ve looked forward to since kindergarten. Examples include a legacy project, the fifth grade musical, a trip to Camp Bernie, a pool party, the Moving Up ceremony and more.
The Fifth Grade Committee is made up of fifth grade parents who volunteer to work together with the school staff to ensure that every graduating student has an extra special fifth grade experience. There are jobs to fit any schedule, and if you simply can’t find the time, you can always donate money. Both do wonders.
If you would like to volunteer to be a part of the Fifth Grade Committee, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and tell us a little bit about yourself and your interests/skills. In September, we’ll kick things off with a meeting to create sub-committees to lead initiatives for the rest of the year.
Remember, the success of the Fifth Grade Committee is driven primarily by parents, so we need your help! We hope to hear from you soon.
